The neighborhood near Brady Street and Prospect and Farwell Avenues in Milwaukee has long been a magnet for a diverse mix of age groups. But long-time residents in their 60s and beyond were hardly ever seen out, even though they account for about 20% of the neighborhood’s population. As a partner in the Connecting Caring Communities coalition, Creatonomy consulted on research and communication strategies, as well as implemented a media campaign (print and digital billboards), public relations campaign (resulting in print and broadcast coverage) and a website update. The work helped Connecting Caring Communities achieve its goal: a neighborhood where seniors are connected, valued and enriched.
